About

I’m Brendan, a Montréal-based public-policy professional and Master of Public Policy and Public Administration student at Concordia University.

I’m interested in public policy, institutions, and the stories we tell about them.

I tend to write about politics and public affairs, but I’m also drawn more broadly to narrative and to the ways ideas, places, and experiences can be communicated through writing, film, and photography.

I see photography, in particular, as a form of visual storytelling that can sometimes convey a feeling or idea more immediately than words can.
